FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Bespoke?
Bespoke is e-commerce wellness platform, which delivers all of your weekly essentials straight to your door. Our mission is to make it easy for you to access quality nutrition with a curated selection of food and wellness products that are real, clean and unprocessed.
Whether your goal is to boost your immunity, shed weight, access new wellness products or to introduce clean eating into the lives of you and your family. Bespoke is your go to destination.
Prior to launching Bespoke we spent years in the food industry as Restauranteurs. We witnessed first hand the void of high quality products - snacks, sauces, dips and meal prep that are free of gluten, dairy and refined sugar. Our mission was to reinvent big food in France.
By cutting out big food, we have more control into the composition of our products and can produce at a fair and equitable price.
Why do you call yourself Clean food?
Unfortunately, today 60% of our global diet is processed. Although we all think we eat well, this is the shocking truth. Much of these products hide harmful, inflammatory and even toxic ingredients. When we built Bespoke, we wanted to change the food industry by creating products with all natural ingredients free of harmful ingredients which we have all become accustom to. We call ourselves the clean food company because all of our food is made with simple ingredients, superfoods and a bounty of flavor. We’re so confident in our food, we don’t need to add addictive ingredients (like sugar) to make you want more. It’s great food, that’s good for you.
Why is Bespoke healthy?
All of products are created around our Food Philosophy a scientifically based approach that centers around whole, plant-forward food, free of harmful or toxic ingredients like refined sugar, dairy and gluten. We stand out from the crowd by maintaining a strict quality standard for all of our products and from the vendors we source from. We make living a healthy life fun and accessible.
How long does your food last?
We believe food goes bad, and that’s a good thing. For a long time we’ve been conditioned to believe the longer food lasts the more “value” we are getting, but what is often overlooked is what we’re sacrificing, our health. All our dishes are prepared by our chefs from raw and ultra-fresh products in our kitchens in the Paris. On average, you can consume our dishes up to 5 days after delivery, keeping them refrigerated. Our dips, sauces and snacks last longer. All of our dishes will come marked with a more exact expiration date. We cook without preservatives for sustainability, and maximum health.
Also, remember to put your dishes in the fridge, between 0°C and 4°C upon receipt of your package.
Is Your food Gluten Free?
All of our programs are 100% gluten free, refined sugar free and dairy free! Most of our products outside of our programs are also refined sugar free and gluten free. All of the products we produce and the vendors we work with adhere to a strict quality standard. Lean more
Will I get enough protein?
Yes! Whether you're snacking on one of our delicious morning smoothies, mouth watering plates or superfood snacks, our food is designed with the right balance of plant protein, and animal protein to help you build lean muscle, fuel your cells and to get you in the best health possible.
What is a cleanse and why do it?
Have you ever kept your computer on for a few days (or weeks) and seen how slow it becomes. Yet after you turn it off for the night, the next morning it’s brand new, again? As humans we’re no different. Our bodies need a break, especially from our highly industrialized diet. Replenishing your body with easily absorbed nutrients from high quality, plant-based superfoods for a short period of time can help you take stock of your habits, conquer cravings, clear away the clutter, and press reset.
Doing a cleanse gives your digestive system rest, allowing your body to put the energy normally used for digestion into detoxification, recovery and healing. A few days of cleansing can help build your immune system, reduce your bloat, help you shed weight, increase brain focus and make your skin glow. It’s the best gift you can give to yourself.

Why do you use plastic meal containers instead of plant-based plastics or compostable?
We spend a lot of time and effort researching the latest in packaging to find the best option for you and the environment. We selected our current packaging with those things in mind.
What We Use
Bespoke's food containers are made from post-consumer recycled #1 PET plastic. This means the plastic used to create the containers has had a prior life—for instance, as a water bottle. By giving it a second life as a Bespoke meal container, we’re saving thousands of pounds of plastic from ending up in landfills and oceans. Using recycled plastic to make our containers is more expensive than single use plastic, but we believe it’s well worth the investment for its environmental impact.
Why We Didn't Go "Compostable"
While "compostable" containers might seem like a good option, research shows otherwise. In fact, they can take just as long to break down as a regular plastic container or any other waste—Not to mention with the lack of composting facilities in France.
There are two major types of compostable containers:
Option #1: Pulp or paper-based containers.
These are usually polycoated (coated with plastic) to make them water resistant. But polycoating makes these containers un-compostable. Left uncoated, pulp or paper-based containers can’t withstand moisture, nor can they sufficiently protect their contents from airflow or excessive movement during shipping. This results in wilted greens and damaged food, creating unnecessary food waste. It’s our goal to bring you the crispest greens, the freshest fruits, and the most beautiful, delicious meals possible—and we believe our packaging achieves this best, while also reducing food waste and carbon emissions (did you know the methane gas from food waste is ~30x stronger than CO2?) for the good of the planet.
Option #2: Plant-based plastics (PLA).
We know the trendy thing in some vegan shops are PLA's. They might look like plastic, but they are not—and worse they can’t be recycled. And, like pulp or paper-based containers, PLA requires a commercial composting facility which don't exist in Paris, making it more for vanity then actual function.
We believe that at this time, recycled PET plastic is the best option for you and the environment. Our hope is that our packaging will reduce landfill waste by remaining in the recycling system, and—because of its superior protective qualities—cut carbon emissions by reducing food waste.
What You Can Do
We ask that you do your part by rinsing and recycling your Bespoke containers after enjoying your meals. With your support, we can make sure our containers live on and never end up in landfills or oceans. Together we can help keep our planet healthy and beautiful.
